These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Mannan Transport Inc. website and related transportation, warehousing, and logistics services.
About Us
Mannan Transport Inc. provides freight transportation and warehousing services from Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec. Website content is for general information and does not create a binding carriage contract until a bill of lading, rate confirmation, or written service agreement is issued.
Quotes and Rates
Online or verbal quotes are estimates only. Final charges may change based on actual weight, dimensions, accessorials, fuel, waiting time, permits, appointment requirements, and destination conditions.
Quote validity: All quoted rates are valid for two (2) business days unless otherwise stated.
Insurance Coverage
Mannan Transport Inc. liability for damages or loss (to cargo or for direct or indirect damages), caused or resulting from its negligence, gross negligence or willful misconduct, shall be limited to the lesser of the actual value of the cargo or $1.50/lb CDN to a maximum liability of $50,000.00 CDN. Any shipments with a declared value noted on the Bill of Lading must be pre-approved by Mannan Transport Inc.
Driver Assist & Liftgate Service
Driver-assist services, pallet-jack and liftgate services are not included in the quoted rate and will be billed as additional charges if requested or required.
LTL Shipments
If a shipment is quoted as LTL, it will be handled as an LTL shipment. Transit times may be affected by freight availability, routing, and consolidation schedules.
Special Instructions
All special handling requirements or instructions must be clearly communicated and confirmed in the quotation email before booking. Any instructions added only to the load confirmation may not be acknowledged or accommodated, and we cannot be held responsible for any resulting issues or additional costs.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate shipment, contact, and billing information
- Ensure freight is properly packaged, labeled, and ready for pickup
- Disclose special handling needs (hazmat, temperature, oversize, liftgate, etc.)
Service Limitations
Transit times are estimates, not guarantees, unless expressly agreed in writing. We are not liable for delays or interruptions caused by weather, road closures, mechanical issues beyond our reasonable control, customs, labour disruptions, or force majeure events.
Website Use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, or submit false or abusive form content. All trademarks, text, and images remain the property of Mannan Transport Inc. or their respective owners.
Careers Submissions
Information submitted through the Careers pages is used solely for recruitment and related communications.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Courts in Quebec have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
